My name is Bethany and Bobbi is my twin sister. We just got an eight week old puppy named Zoey. We are moving from our home that we have lived in for 17 years and it is becoming very stressful. We will be moving into an apartment which is a little frightening and exciting, because Bobbi and I are going to be living by ourselves! I am currently a Biology major and have to take a lot of chemistry and math classes. I work at Banana Republic on weekends. Also before I came back for spring semester I was in Maui with my boyfriend Jeffrey!I found the concept of Scansion the most helpful. It is also known as scanning, meaning you can scan the poem to analyze the poems meter. "Although scansion the process of counting the number of stressed and unstressed syllables and analyzing their patterns is a decidedly inexact science, it nevertheless brings some order and system to the language of poetry."(pg. 28)
